You can normally cancel or reschedule an appointment by clicking on the "Appointments" tab in the Patient Portal and navigating to the appointment you would like to manage. You can also cancel or reschedule appointments by replying "Cancel" or "Change" to your text message notifications.
You can follow these visual steps in the patient portal to cancel or reschedule your appointment:
Some requests need hospital approval so it may take about a day for you to hear if your appointment has been changed. If you want to check any details about the appointment and can’t find the information you need in your letter or on the portal, then please contact them directly.
*Note: these options may not be available for all appointments at your hospital. If you are not able to manage your appointment via the Patient Portal, or through text message, please contact your hospital directly.
Unfortunately, DrDoctor cannot change, cancel or confirm appointments on your behalf.
